Is that this scene comes from a show that advertises itself like this!
You never know what you're gonna get. Also if you're interested in the full scene then here you go. It really won't make too much sense out of context and you probably won't know what's going on but it still conveys the mood.

Toradora's the absolute shit. Have you seen any Golden Time? I've been hearing good things, but I'm probably going to binge it once all the episodes are out.

I've watched the first half of Golden Time and it was good but ultimately frustrating because the characters were making dumb mistakes. I decided to wait until the season was over to finish watching so I wouldn't get overly frustrated.

Toradora ended up being a great show. Sometimes the shows with really stereotypical premises and obvious outcomes can be the best.
Alex what are you watching this season? So far of what I've seen I think Noragami looks the most interesting, along with the continuation of Space Brothers of course.

Yeah, it's good. I'm a big Toradora fan and Chunibyo scratched a similar itch and Kyoto Animation is a pleasure in of itself for me. Just know that the feels are strong with this one as well.

Well I just started back at University so not too much at the moment. I also like to take hiatuses from anime occasionally so I don't burn myself out. It's also to work through my massive book backlog since I have two modes "Anime" and "Reading".
However I've been watching Space Dandy and Kill La Kill (both of which I'm still in love with). I also recently finished Shin Sekai Yori, which I loved and highly recommend. I also finished watching Perfect Blue the other night and besides from the very detailed nude scene (which I wish my girlfriend would of warned me about in advance so I could mentally prepare myself for) coming out of nowhere I really liked it and recommend it if you want to watch a really good movie.
Also I'm planing on starting Revolutionary Girl Utena, Noragami, and chunibyou soon. Any more recomendations?

Oh sweet jesus! If it's as bad as Toradora I might need a ride in an SLS AMG to cheer me up. Hint hint nudge nudge.
Also have you seen spice and wolf?

Noragami is the only one I've watched so far that I think could be really good, but I haven't watched that many TBH. I read a lot more manga than I watch anime, I probably hit my peak of Anime watching around 2008 or so, but I've increased my manga consumption massively in the last couple of years. I've got 56 series on my currently reading list, of which I probably actively follow around 40 or so. So if you want manga recommendations I'd be a lot better suited to provide those. Here is my currently reading list with ratings:

And my completed list:

My highest anime recommendations would probably be Honey and Clover, Natsume Yuujinchou, and Cross Game. EDIT: Actually I liked Cross Game better as a manga than as an anime. Replace Cross Game with Ookiku Furikabutte.
My highest manga recommendations for recent stuff would probably be: Bonnouji, Horimiya, Tower of God, All Rounder Meguru and 3-Gatsu no Lion. But I could recommend manga all day.

Hehe, it's good pick me up.
I watched the first 3-4 episodes of Spice and Wolf but got sidetracked with something and never went back. I hear good things though.
So many good things to watch now. Big into Kill la Kill and Witch Craft Works at moment. The latter having the catchiest ED I've heard in a while.
And the witch torture imagery with chibi versions of characters is awkward fun.
I'm liking how they've flipped the typical damsel in distress trope on its head.

Oh you read Adolescences Upon an Incline (what I call kids on the slope)! I've never really gotten too into manga for some reason. However I'll check out some of your recommendations.
Also Natsume and Honey and Clover is already on the list. If you want some good anime recommendations, here's my MAL. Anything ranked with an 8 or above you can count as a recommendation from me.

haha, yeah I was actually watching Kids on the Slope but got impatient waiting for new episodes and just read the manga instead. This is not the first time that has happened.
If you like Gin no Saji the manga is way ahead of the anime. From scanning your list the glaring absences IMO are:
Planetes
Cross Game
BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad
Ookiku Furikabutte
Kare Kano (well the first half at least, then switch to the manga)
Nodame Cantabile
Patlabor
I just pulled up a top ten list that I wrote a few years ago and those were the ones that you didn't have on your list. Also you need to finish Kyoukai no Kanata, it starts getting really good around episode 3 or 4 I think.
If you really prefer Anime to Manga the one Manga (well Manhwa actually) I would really recommend to you is Tower of God. It's a full color Webtoon from Korea and it's a fantastic read, more action-y than I normally go for it's a real treat. You can read it on Batoto.
Here is my respective anime list, but I actually don't know when I last updated this. Most of the ratings are probably from when I was like 19, so take them with a grain of salt. As I've gotten older I've found that it's been easier to find the niches I like in manga instead of anime, less melodrama and more actual emotions.
